限量版「Maestro大師精選」正是Mondav先生工作貢獻和智慧的展現。象徵 Robert Mondavi 在1966年，也就是50年前，選擇名園 To Kalon奠下基礎，希望打造足以媲美法國、甚至全世界的好酒! 使用的葡萄來自整座 Napa 山谷，包括【To Kalon】和【Wappo Hill】這二塊名園，To Kalon 被公認為Napa最出色的葡萄園之一，在 2008年Robert Mondavi 羅伯老先生逝世後，紀念更名為 Robert’s Block，其七種不同類型的土壤與小型微氣候，以人工採收再放入傳統的橡木桶中冷浸發酵將近24天，強化葡萄品種特性，再進入28％的新法國橡木桶中乳酸發酵，最後歷經21個月的法國橡木桶陳年。這款波爾多混釀葡萄酒，由 73% Cabernet Sauvignon卡本內引領出整體香氣、風味和酒體，就像一個管絃樂隊，引領著其他的葡萄演奏出自身的音符，協奏出黑色水果、黑李、櫻桃、肉豆蔻和乾燥草本的風味樂章。單寧細緻柔和，口感滑順迷人，猶如樂曲最後的長音符，尾韻華麗豐富，充滿著黑色莓果及辛香氣!

Robert Mondavi •【Maestro Limited Edition】2014 •【限量版大師精選作品】 Tasting Notes: Named for the opening of Robert Mondavi’s To Kalon Cellar in 2000, when the man himself threw a huge “cellar-bration” featuring a commissioned chamber-orchestra piece aptly named “Ode to To Kalon.” It was there that Mr. Mondavi leapt to his feet to lead the music. As a tribute to the pioneering Maestro of Napa Valley’s success, this wine—a blend of 73% Cabernet Sauvignon, 23% Cabernet Franc and 2% each of Merlot and Petit Verdot—offers up a meaty nose of deep, dark chocolate-covered strawberries. Flavors of tobacco, soil, slate, tar and olives go long on gritty tannins, and with a wave of the baton, it finishes on a high note of lilacs and caramel-coated coffee bean.
