Château du Tertre，簡稱 Le Tertre，意為 「山丘」、「升坡」，是以其所在的地形而命名。最早的歷史紀錄出現在1143年, Chateau du Tertre 位於波爾多左岸的Margaux 瑪歌產區。在西元1855年Chateau du Tertre 在波爾多列級評級內當時就已被評為五級酒莊。其酒莊歷史Chateau du Tertre)創建於十八世紀初，葡萄園的種植歷史由來自梅多克地區最古老的貴族的阿爾薩克(Seigneurie d’Arsac)家族。12世紀時期，該家族是梅多克地區擁有矚目的地位元和號召力的貴族，在持續上百年的英法戰爭中成為支撐英軍的大財團之一。
Seigneurie d’Arsac 家族是15-18世紀時期在梅多克地區同時擁有最多頂級酒莊的家族，該家族在巔峰時期同時擁有拉菲、木桐、拉圖和其他列級、中級名莊。在塞古爾家族的管理下，杜特莊園只用了30年不到的時間就有了飛躍式的進步，酒品質量也逐漸受到眾多專家認可。在1855年的梅多克列級酒莊評級中，杜特酒莊被列為五級酒莊。Chateau du Tertre 酒莊的葡萄園種植面積共有52公頃，主要種植葡萄品種是：40% Cabernet Sauvignon、35% Merlot、20% Cabernet Franc 和5% Petit Verdot，葡萄樹的平均樹齡約達到35~45年左右。
堅持採收後的葡萄必須要在傳統的木桶中發酵，在良好的溫控系統控制下浸泡3周以上。Jelgersma 在當地葡萄酒專家的幫助下，逐步改進釀造技術，賦予酒更高的品質。在全新的橡木桶中陳年18~20個月，其中50%的葡萄酒將被轉移再陳釀，最後用蛋白澄清法澄清。然而在2006年後 Chateau du Tertre 重回昔日的光輝，再度站上Margaux 精英酒莊的頂尖位置。
