四百多年歷史孕育滋養的隆河之最 — Roger Sabon在教皇新堡鼎鼎大名，其酒莊歷史可以追溯遠到西元1540年，在教皇新堡中可以算是一個相當古老備受推崇的傳統酒莊。也是最堅持傳統葡萄酒釀造法的典範之一。Sabon 家族自1540 年以來幾經歷代耕耘，至今已擁有Chateauneuf du Pape AOC 15 公頃與源自隆河區Roquemaure 17 公頃大面積的特級葡萄莊園。2001 起由Jean- Jacques Sabon 的女婿 Didier Négron 釀造葡萄酒，同時其子孫也參與家族酒廠的經營，各司其職, 致力為釀造優質葡萄酒而努力。

The Sabon family has a long history in Chateauneuf du Pape. Quote from the homepage of the domain: “One of the oldest documented landholders in Chateauneuf du Pape, the Sabon family has controlled vineyards in the zone since 1540”. Today the property has 15 ha. in AOC Chateauneuf du Pape and owns 17 ha. of vineyards in Roquemaure from where Lirac and Cotes du Rhone are made. e vinication is since 2001 in the care of Didier Négron, son-inlaw of Jean- Jacques Sabon. Roger Sabon 2010 for Robert Parker Tasting Notes: An ab solutely profound offering, the 2010 Chateauneuf du Pape Cuvee Prestige requires 5-6 years of cellaring given its massive concentration and tannic structure. The wine was relatively closed the day I tasted it, but it did display an inky/purple color along with hints of camphor, graphite, creme de cassis, kirsch, licorice and espresso beans. Full-bodied and moderately tannic with gorgeous freshness, glycerin and a skyscraper-like texture, this superb cuvee should be at its finest between 2018-2030+.
Wine Spectator Tasting Notes: This has power and guile, with dense layers of blackberry, Black Mission fig and black currant fruit lined with substantial but velvety tannins. The long, spice- and black tea—infused finish has a good bass line in the background. Best from 2017 through 2030. 200 cases
