位於 Gevrey Chambertin村內,Domaine Frederic Esmonin 一開始起先都是自己單純種植葡萄和釀酒,釀完之後,將整桶葡萄液一桶一桶的賣給布根地著名的大型酒商,像是Leroy或是Louis Jadot 之類, Andre是一位深受敬重的酒農,積極熱心地幫助照顧 伯恩濟貧醫院釀製 Mazis-Chambertin Grand Cru 頂級紅酒 ,直到現任少莊主Frederic 1987年開始接手後，他覺得這樣非常可惜,為何自己釀的酒,卻不能打上自己的品牌,他決定用自己 Domaine 品牌裝瓶銷售，從此開始改變了 Frederic Esmonin,但當時葡萄園自有地僅有3.45公頃，所以能產出來的瓶數相當稀少。目前只擁有兩塊特級葡萄園- Mazis-Chambertin、Rouchottes-Chambertin，以及品質優良的地塊 Lavaux St-Jacques & Estournelles-St-Jacques。在「The great domaines of Burgundy」書中有一句話寫出,”What better references could be found for quality than being courted by the Hospices de Beaune, Leroy and Jadot?”
近年Esmonin的優異品質深受矚目，2006 Mazis Chambertin 率先由 Wine Spectator 評比 94 高分並推薦 Collectibles 收藏；2009 的 Mazis 與 Ruchottes Chambertin 兩款頂級酒更雙雙獲得 BH 93分以及 Sweet Spot 推薦。2011 年法國食品協會邀集專業評審盲飲選出法國各產區代表酒款，Esmonin Gevrey Chambertin V.V. Les Jouises 村莊酒獲得六位評審給予滿分，成為唯一一款獲得滿分的勃根地紅酒。
Frederic Esmonin的酒相當有個特色,就是葡萄大多來自於西原1950~1960年之間種植的葡萄釀成，且為了過於粗澀丹寧,採取100%去梗，Frederic 認為除非在特別極佳的年份才留梗；增加一些綠色草本清香, 另外, Frederic 使用傳統式的野生酵母, 尊重每個葡萄園自己的特色」這樣的精神去看待他們的葡萄園。為了不讓細膩黑皮諾釋出太粗的單寧,完全使用 Trancais 森林地區的木材製作出 Trancais 橡木桶，表達出它自己細緻風土特色。在著名的布根地酒評網站裡，本酒莊紅酒都獲得極高的評價，洗鍊而集中，現代風格的華麗濃郁中交錯著Terroir風土的細膩和獨,其表現相當優異! 更是被列入了「The great domaines of Burgundy」書中推薦的酒莊之一…..相當精通布根地酒的 Burghound (簡稱BH) 以及 Steve Tanzer 都給予這些酒非常好的評價!
