在西元1971年Von Neipperg家族在法國的聖艾美倫 Saint-Emilion 買下了Canon La Gaffelière, La Mondotte, Clos de l’Oratoire 和 Château Peyreau。1983年交由專精於經濟學、管理學和農學的Stephan von Neipperg 管理。從每一塊土地到葡萄種植與葡萄酒釀造、陳年，甚至市場行銷到國際貿易他都親自參與了解。過去10年，Clos de L’Oratoire 都有90分以上的高分，顯示 Stephan von Neipperg 先生努力。西元1998年 Stephan von Neipperg 擔任波爾多列級酒莊聯合會副主席，致力推廣Saint-Emilion 的葡萄酒。 酒莊佔地10.32公頃，葡萄園位於聖愛美倫地區的東北部坡地上，覆蓋於表土的是Fronsac砂岩(軟質石灰岩)，下層為沙質和黏土質地基。分別種植著 Merlot （90%）、Cabernet Franc（5%）和Cabernet Sauvignon（5%），這裡的土質十分適合葡萄生長。色澤偏深，Merlot 賦予葡萄酒圓潤豐腴的口感，而 Cabernet Franc 賦予其力度、複雜的香氣和綿長的回味!

Clos de L’Oratoire 2012Robert Parker Tasting Notes: One of the von Neipperg estates, the 2012 Clos de l’Oratoire is an undeniable success story. Dense ruby/purple, with plenty of crème de cassis, roasted coffee, licorice and spice, full-bodied, opulent and sexy, it is a hedonist’s dream wine. Pure and long, it has a great finish and terrific palate presence. Drink it over the next 12-15 years. Yields were exceptionally small in 2012 – 25 hectoliters per hectare.
Wine Spectator Tasting Notes:This has a ripe, fleshy feel, offering a core of plum, fig and boysenberry fruit laced with licorice, carrying through the toasty yet integrated finish. Very solidly built for the vintage. 3,583 cases made.
