好的環境加上得天獨厚 Silvio Denz 釀酒精神，並且請來的全世界最著名的飛行釀酒師 Michel Rolland 大力工藝加持下，這些舉動不禁讓國際葡萄酒市場注意到右岸 Castillons 這家小酒廠，國際香水設計大師的故事從此就此展開了!
著名酒評師羅伯特·帕克（Robert Parker）曾這樣評價 Cap de Faugères酒莊：“始終是卡斯蒂永丘的頂級葡萄酒之一（Always one of the top Cotes de Castillons）。”從這一評價中足見Cap de Faugères 酒莊葡萄酒的品質之精良! 並且在他個人著作《Parker’s Wine Buyer’s Guide》第七版，★★★★ 給予四顆星高評價）。
Faugères 最早歷史可以追溯到1823年，這家Cap de Faugères小酒莊坐落在波爾多美麗的Sainte-Colombe鎮，Cotes de Castillon產區，1992年Cap de Faugères邀請著名建築設計師 Jean Gastines和 Patrick Dillon 爲 Cap de Faugères設計建造全新的酒窖，同時 Jean Gastines 和 Patrick Dillon 這二位設計師也是波爾多Chateau Pichon Lalande女爵酒莊的御用設計師
2005年香水設計大師 Silvio Denz 花下鉅資買下了 Cap de Faugères酒莊。他本身是香水設計師、葡萄酒愛好者、著名的萊儷水晶品牌Lalique 總裁，Silvio Denz還在瑞士（蘇黎世）擁有兩家國際精品葡萄酒公司，其中一個是瑞士最大的葡萄酒拍賣行 « Denz Weine »。Silvio Denz 除了 Castillon 坡地上的Château Cap de Faugères 葡萄園之外。同時還是Château Rocheyron 酒莊股東，以及義大利Montepeloso 酒莊的股東之一。
他大幅度更新釀酒設備及訂定高質量要求，採用現代化的釀酒工藝。手工採收葡萄後，會先檯面上進行高規格葡萄篩選後，將產量縮減一半以上，進而提高酒質表現，請來全世界最著名的飛行釀酒師 Michel Rolland 擔任釀酒顧問，主要以80% Merlot 為主，另外少量的 Cabernet Franc 及 Cabernet Sauvignon，葡萄園地塊與Saint Emilion產區相連，有著共同的石灰質粘土，這種土壤富含鈣質，具有溫度調節功能，賦予 Cap de Faugères 酒質厚實又不失甜果香氣風格。

Chateau Cap de Faugeres •【Cotes de Castillon】2015Jeb Dunnuck Tasting Notes: I tasted the 2015 Cap De Faugeres on three different occasions and it rated outstanding on two of the three showings. Offering lots of darker fruits, truffle, and leafy herbs aromas and flavors in a medium-bodied, rounded, forward and sexy style, it should impress for upwards of a decade. One bottle had a fair bit of reduction, so don’t be afraid to give this wine some time in a decanter if drinking anytime soon.
Wine Spectator Tasting Notes: Lively, with aromatic pomegranate, rooibos tea and savory notes forming the core, picking up currant coulis and iron accents on the finish. Drink now through 2023.
Jame Suckling Tasting Notes: Refined and very pretty with blue fruit and dried berry. Full and tight. Cool fruit.
