波爾多右岸最具影響力家族-鼎鼎大名 Moueix家族，擁有波爾多天王Château Petrus 和 Château Trotanoy的他，除了Moueix家族名聲顯赫，Alain Moueix 本身也是前聖愛美隆聯合公會主席，右岸經典聯盟副主席，而且在頂二級酒莊 Château Dufort Vivens 擔任釀酒顧問，生物動力法認証組織Biodyvin副主席，幾乎可說是波爾多 Biodynamic 的領航人，在2011年期間，著名美食指南 Gault & Millau 將 Alain Moueix 列選為最佳年度風雲人物，可說是波爾多右岸自然派的先鋒!
Alain Moueix 開始接手 Château Mazeyres 後進行全部改革，大幅度更換釀酒設備及全新木桶外，全面推動Biodynamic ，注重葡萄樹、土壤和環境之間交互影響，其目的就是將葡萄園風土條件發揮到最大，不想去釀出厚重木桶風格，盡量使酒質提昇優雅細膩且富有多層次複雜酒體，2015年Château Mazeyres 終於取得 Biodynamic 認証。葡萄園上分佈著沙質礫石土壤，下層土為黏性的礫石土壤，表層的砂質土下埋藏著富含鐵成分的粘土，這在當地被稱為「堅硬的沉積岩」。主要種植以80% Merlot 葡萄為主、其次是15% Cabernet Sauvignon、3% Cabernet Franc、2% Petit Verdot、1% Malbec等葡萄。平均樹齡30-45年之間，14~18個月橡木桶陳年，年產量約4-5萬瓶。從 1992 年起，Alain Moueix 意識到葡萄園內每一塊不同的獨特小型微氣候，讓酒質真實地展現出不同地塊風土的獨特性和多樣特色! 依仗得天獨厚的風土條件，Alain Moueix 釀造出的葡萄酒優雅且精緻，贏得葡萄酒愛好者為之陶醉不已!

Robert Parker Tasting Notes: The 2015 Château Mazeyres has a lovely bouquet of blackberry, briary, sous-bois and a light marine influence, all very well defined but not concerned about making a big splash at this premature juncture. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannin, crisp and focused with plenty of fresh blueberry and cassis fruit, before seguing into a structured but refined finish. There is great potential here in another great Pomerol wine from Alain Moueix 【 Alain Mouieux is the winemaker】 5,000 cases made.
