Proprieta Sperino酒廠，位於Alto Piemonte的Biella省的Lessona產區，Lessona DOC 在西元1976年就已成立【既是地名，也是產區名】，釀酒歷史更可追溯至12世紀。歷史文獻記載在西元1870年義大利政治家 Quintino Sella 舉杯慶祝義大利統一，當時所用的不是香檳，而是義大利 Lessona的酒。從此Lessona成為“Vino d’Italia”的代名詞 !
Proprieta Sperino葡萄園所在之處，有許多古代海洋留下的黃色砂礫，土質酸而富礦物質，讓 Nebbiolo 細膩且帶有多層次複雜感，整支酒以石榴色為主，略帶磚紅色，中等酒體，多變的紅色水果轉甘草與橘皮，花香穿梭其間，香氣持久迷人而複雜，截然不同的Nebbiolo經驗。將這款酒比之Barolo 與 Barbaresco，Lessona 展現的不是骨架，而是連綴不歇的紅色靈動。皮蒙雙B地區需要苦等多年才會有卓絕的蕈類香氣，像Lessona這樣的酒，卻似略施脂粉、帶幾分韻味的輕熟女【 Isole e Olena 莊主 Paolo De Marchi 在 Lessona 形容著: 老樹新芽，很有 Barolo 味道的 Sangiovese! 】

Proprieta Sperino【Lessona】2010Robert Parker Tasting Notes: Here is an older vintage that bursts open from the glass with a delicate, almost Burgundian personality (這是一瓶相當古老的酒,其型態像極了勃根地的優雅). The 2010 Lessona comes from granite-rich and sandy soils at the base of the Italian Alps. The wine opens to a pretty garnet color and a brilliant ruby hue. Nebbiolo from Alto Piemonte tends to show a lower threshold of tannic astringency, and this wine is silky, graceful and finely textured as a result (這瓶酒相當柔滑~細膩且質地優雅). Open-casks fermentation shapes an accessible and generous bouquet with wild berry, moist earthy tones and anise seed.
Vinous – Antonio Galloni Tasting Notes: A total knockout, the 2010 Lessona is laced with freshly cut flowers, sweet red berries, mint, anise and new leather, all supported by fine, silky tannins that convey an impression of weightless elegance. The flavors are bright, precise and very nicely sculpted in this mid-weight Lessona from Sperino, yet there is plenty of depth in the fruit to balance out the tannins. The 2010 is already quite pretty and should continue to drink well for another 10-15 years, if not longer. The 2010 is 100% Nebbiolo that spent 3 years in a combination of 5 and 15HL casks. Proprieta Sperino【Lessona】2008 Robert Parker Antonio Galloni Tasting Notes: The 2008 Lessona is a serious, serious wine endowed with superb depth and textural richness. Today the tannins are a bit firm, and the wine is, of course, very young, but there is no denying the sheer finesse and pedigree of what is in the glass. Juicy dark cherries, plums, graphite, mint and sweet herbs flesh out beautifully as the 2008 continues to open up. This is a dazzling effort from the De Marchis and Proprieta Sperino. I can’t wait to see how the 2008 ages. Anticipated maturity: 2014-2028.

Proprieta Sperino •【Coste della Sesia Uvaggio】2013Robert Parker Tasting Notes: This wine is named Uvaggio in reference to the fact it represents a blend of three grapes: 80% Nebbiolo, 15% Vespolina and 5% Croatina. Some of the fruit for the 2013 Coste della Sesia Uvaggio is harvested from parcels with sandy soils that give the wine more perfumed characteristics and other fruit is harvested from granite-rich soils that give the wine more structure and fiber. This is a deep and authentic red wine with balanced red fruit aromas that saturate a long and silky mouthfeel. Savory tones of spice and leather give the wine staying power. In all, the 2013 vintage is delicate and nuanced in nature.
